I became the Assistant Director of the SUNY Center for Collaborative Online International Learning in November 2010. I have more than 10 years experience in higher education. This includes many years working as an Instructional Designer at Hudson Valley Community College where I worked closely with faculty in the development of online, hybrid, and web-enhanced courses. I also have also spent many years living abroad which has given me extensive experience functioning in international and multi-cultural environments. This included working in the British and German higher education sectors. I recently completed a research-based European Master in Higher Education that involved studying in Norway, Finland and Portugal on an Erasmus Mundus scholarship.
