This presentation covers the development and implementation of the University at Buffalo’s Annual Academic Program Assessment; a web application designed to help programs provide assessment reports, program assessment coordinators to share best practices and resources, faculty and staff to compare assessment efforts and administration to track and report on program learning outcomes and assessment based program planning.
In this presentation we will: identify the requirements for an annual academic assessment report; Identify the components of an assessment rubric for program learning outcomes; Explain a learning outcome and its importance in a program assessment report; Explain program planning and its importance in a program assessment report; and finally we will consider the use of an enterprise-wide, online, program assessment report for college/university reporting requirements. - Thomas Slomka
