Hi Robin,
I believe you can only reply directly if I posted it as a discussion. Alex is far more versed in the NING platform than I am :-)

Thanks for sharing Erin. I added them both to my "watch later" to-do list. Am I missing a function in Ning to reply to your post instead of created a new comment?

TOEP may consider using a new community platform and Ning is one consideration. We'd also be interested to hear from others about recommendations for alternate "private" social-media platforms that we may want to consider. Our Google+ community is working great, but the spreadsheet to explain how the 64 different campuses interact with G+ is an initial stumbling block.

Hi all,
I came across two resources that may interest the Community.
1. Teaching in Higher Ed podcasts: http://teachinginhighered.com/
2. Recorded OLC webinar on Instructional Designers in Higher Education: http://go.onlinelearning-c.org/x0C0000u3X60FqS0gL4VpMc

Hi Paul,
Anyone can access the information Laura has provided. We have made the pages live on the COTEhub under the Resources tab in the top navigation menu: http://commons.suny.edu/cotehub/resources/non-suny-resources-for-co...
Of course, I would encourage your librarians to join COTE, as we are continuing to develop resources that are inclusive of our librarians community. I'd be interested to hear about their needs and concerns if you'd like to connect them with me (erin.maney@suny.edu).
Thanks Paul!
Erin
Catch 22 for Librarians. Our Librarians will not want to Join COTE to see if these resources are of interest to them. But we want them to see this information.
If we are going to perk interest in this, we can't ask them to join just to see what this all about. Is there a way to get this information out there without COTE membership?
Hopefully once they see this information, it will perk their interest and they will want to join COTE.
Good morning! I am happy to announce a set of resources for librarians doing online course support in the COTEhub web site: http://commons.suny.edu/cotehub/resources/non-suny-resources-for-co...
The pages are linked under the Resource Menu.
Big thanks to Erin Maney and Amelia Manders for their help in getting these pages live. I look forward to expanding their content to help our fearless librarians. Feel free to contact me with questions and recommendations for these pages: laura.murray@suny.edu
We normally send it out to a listserv we have. I'll forward your information to make sure you get added.
Thanks Dan! Is there someplace this is posted for participation in future calls?
