Profile Information

about me: I'm a writing instructor and writing tutor at Cayuga Community College. I teach developmental writing and English 101, and the other half of my job is to support students' writing in a one-on-one conference setting. I use the internet as a way to further connect with students and provide resources to them, and I'm looking for ways to use and incorporate technology as a conduit to help break the barrier between fear and learning that exists for my level of students. Unfortunately, sometimes technology makes that worse. So, I'm interested in finding strategies to help students of all levels...kind of using technology as a way to differentiate classroom instruction!
