about me: I am an instructor at Lomonosov Moscow State University, working at the department of Linguistics and Instructional Technology. I have had a 4-year experience as an online language tutor working with high school graduates preparing for their English examination via the distance mode. I have also been an avid user of technology for language teaching and have developed a distance e-literacy course for Russian EFL teachers.

Now I am continuing with my research on distance and blended language learning and instructional technology at the University of Texas, Austin, as a Fulbright visiting researcher.

my interests: online teaching, online learning, blended learning, research, web 2.0, web-enhanced teaching and learning

i teach: fully online, blended (seat time is reduced), web-enhanced, face to face, i support faculty that teach online

I too have a strong interest in the use of Voicethread for instructional purposes. I use it as an icebreaking activity in my online course (i teach into to online learning : )
