about me
I'm a Professor of History at SUNY Old Westbury, specializing in Early Modern Europe. Earlier in my career I was a software developer, specializing in historical strategy games. At Old Westbury, I've combined the two interests by being involved with Distance Learning, from being the first member of the faculty to teach through the SLN to acting as campus academic coordinator to organizing a "Hybrid Initiative" last year to accepting the position as Director of Distance Learning this year.
